K&K Pharmacy from Muleshoe will be coming back to administer the second dose of COVID-19 vaccinations to all of those that participated in the first dose clinic.
You are eligible to participate in this clinic if you are over the age of 16 for the Pfizer Vaccine, and do not have any contraindications for receiving the vaccine. You should not take the vaccine if you are running a fever. There is no cost, it is FREE!!
The second clinic will be TUESDAY, APRIL 20, 2021, at 1:30pm, at the Smyer Senior Citizen’s Building.
The clinic will be first come first serve. You will need to plan to stay approximately 15 minutes after receiving the vaccine to be monitored for adverse reactions. . You must bring your copy of your COVID Vaccine Card in order for the pharmacy to write down your second shot. This is your proof of having received both of the vaccines.
The pharmacist recommends alternating Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 4 hours the day before, the day of, and the day after the vaccine, to help with any side effects/symptoms from the vaccine, but this is not required. You must avoid any other vaccines for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
If you are unable to come to this clinic on the specified date, you may go to K&K Pharmacy in Muleshoe, Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, with or without an appointment, and receive the vaccine there at no cost.
