We are excited to announce that Smyer ISD has adopted a new form of school-to-home communication called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:

• Send and receive school and class information
• Share pictures and files
• See calendar items
•  Sign up to volunteer
•  Schedule parent-teacher conferences
• and much more ... all in one centralized place!

While ParentSquare has many features, Smyer ISD will be slowly adding new features as we go.  At the time of this invitation, we will be using Parent Square for administrators to communicate to home about upcoming events and reminders along with emergency alerts. It will also be used to communicate any changes to pickup and drop off.  As we add more features, we will communicate that to you as well. Teachers will continue to use their current methods until further training is provided to them.
